About Us

Learn Phrasal Verbs was founded by Simon Price, an e-learning course designer with over 12 years experience working with some of the biggest financial and energy companies in Europe.


After serving over 4000 students, Simon saw how one problem appeared again and again for learners of English - learning phrasal verbs. Even though they are an essential element of native speech, many learners tried to avoid them, and then had real problems understanding natives and working in English environments.


From his own experience learning Spanish in Madrid, Simon knew that the only effective way to understand natural speech in any language is to hear and see real examples of each verb being used in context, over and over again.


And so, Learn Phrasal Verbs was created. An online platform where learners get to see so many examples of real English in use (with detailed explanations of each one), it becomes easy to assimilate and understand how and when to use phrasal verbs in the workplace and when socialising.
